How to play

Build your base

• Select your MCV truck and press Deploy to make a Construction Yard.
• Tap a building on the right to start building it. When it says READY, tap it again, then tap the map to place it. Green is OK, red is not.
• Build Power Plants first. If the power bar goes red, everything slows down and towers stop working.
• A Refinery comes with a Harvester. Harvesters collect ore and turn it into money ($) by themselves.
• Barracks make soldiers. A War Factory makes tanks. A Radar Dome turns on the map. A Tech Centre unlocks the best stuff.

Command your army

• Tap a unit to select it. Tap the ground to move. Tap an enemy to attack it.
• Drag with one finger to move around the map. Pinch to zoom.
• Turn on Box then drag to select lots of units at once. Army selects all your fighters.
• Attack mode: your units fight anything they meet on the way.
• Select a Barracks or War Factory, then tap the ground to set where new units go.
• Engineers take over enemy buildings, or fully fix your own.
• Units get stripes after kills and become stronger.
• Helicopters come from a Helipad. When they run out of ammo they fly home to reload. Only Rocket Troopers, Flak Cannons, rifles and towers can hit them.
• Walls: pick Wall on the shield tab, then drag across the map. Press Done when finished.
• The Missile Silo (Red) and Sky Laser (Blue) charge up. When the red button on the right says READY, tap it, then tap the target.
• Ships: build a Naval Yard on the water (buildings tab), then ships from the ⚓ tab. Gunboats are quick, Destroyers (Blue) and Submarines (Red) fight other ships, Cruisers shell the shore from far away. Submarines hide under water until they fire.
• Transports carry 5 units: select soldiers or tanks, tap the Transport to load them, sail to the shore and press Unload.
• Attack Dogs (Red) hunt soldiers. Medics (Blue) heal soldiers. The Commando (Blue) blows up buildings.

Play together

• One person taps Play together, then Host a game, and reads out the 4-letter room code.
• Everyone else taps Play together, types the code and taps Join. Then the host taps Start.
• You all see the same map and fight on one team. If someone drops out, the computer looks after their base until they join again with the same code.
• The host's device runs the battle and saves it. Continue battle on the host's device opens a new room code.

On a computer

• Click to select and order. Drag with the left button for a selection box. Right-drag or arrow keys to scroll. Mouse wheel zooms.
• Keys: A attack-move, S stop, D deploy, Q select army, H go to base, Esc clear, Space pause.
• Groups: Ctrl+1 to Ctrl+9 saves a group, 1 to 9 selects it, press twice to jump to it.
