Frondi Clicker privacy policy

Last updated 18 September 2026

Frondi Clicker is a small tapping game made by Ed Halvey for GH Games (ghgames.au). This page explains, in plain words, what the game does with information. It covers the iPhone app and the version you play in a web browser.

The short version

What is stored on your device

Your Frondis, upgrades, rebirths, world, settings and nickname are saved on the device you play on: in the app's own storage on iPhone, and in the browser's local storage on the web. Deleting the app, or clearing your browser's site data, deletes all of it. We cannot see it.

What is sent to the leaderboard

If you agree to the leaderboard rules and pick a nickname, the game sends two things to the shared GH Games leaderboard: the nickname you typed, and your score (the Frondis you have earned). The time of the entry is recorded with it. The app sends a score when you press "Post my score", when you rebirth, and when you close the app.

Nothing else is sent. No email address, no name, no phone number, no location, no contacts, no photos, no device identifiers, no advertising ID.

Please do not use your real full name or any personal detail as a nickname. Leaderboard nicknames and scores are public: anyone playing the game or visiting ghgames.au can see them.

Where the leaderboard lives

The leaderboard is stored in a database hosted by Supabase Inc. on servers in Japan. The database can only be read, and new scores added; entries cannot be changed by players. Ed Halvey can delete entries.

Children

GH Games is made by a child, for other children as well as adults. The game does not ask for any personal information, and a nickname does not have to be a real name. If a child has put a real name or another personal detail into the leaderboard, email the address below and it will be removed, usually the same day.

Reporting a name and getting things removed

In the app, press and hold any leaderboard name to hide it on your device or to report it. Reported names are removed from the board. You can also email ejhalvey@gmail.com to report a name, to ask for your own nickname and scores to be deleted, or to ask what is stored about a nickname.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
