Friends who pick the same map play in the same game. Computer players fill any empty spots.
Pick a team and a map, then press PLAY. Each round lasts 5 minutes.
How to play
Move: arrow keys or WASD, or hold the mouse button and your character walks to the pointer. On a tablet, touch and drag anywhere on the game.
See more of the map: press 🔍− (or the minus key, or scroll the mouse wheel) to zoom out, 🔍+ to zoom in, and ⛶ to fill the whole screen.
Dash: Space or the pink DASH button. Then wait for it to charge again.
Dads start frozen for 3 seconds while the kids run. Then they chase. A hug is so tight the kid turns into a dad.
Playing as a dad: kids you can hug have a pink ❤️ over their head, and a pink arrow at the edge of the screen points to the nearest one. Kids holding a soda 🥤 have a red dashed ring: keep away from them, or you'll drink it and pass out.
Soda: there are 6 soda machines 🥤 on every map and the soda is free. Kids walk into a machine to grab one, then touch a dad. He drinks it and naps for 30 seconds 💤 (mash WAKE UP to wake up faster), then he is back chasing. Each machine takes 20 seconds to refill, and a soda goes flat after 12 seconds, so not every kid has one.
Boss: when every dad is asleep at the same time, Monica arrives riding Didi, her massive greyhound 🐕. If Didi catches you, you get slobbered and you are out. Players who were dads wake up as kids and join the boss fight too.
Beat the boss: grab a peanut butter jar 🥜 (Didi will chase you!) and press DROP (E key) to lure her. While Didi slurps for 10 seconds, every kid gets TNT 🧨. Place it around her (E key) and it blows up 2 seconds later. Enough blasts and the kids win.
Mega boss: any player can pay 100 socks 🧦 (the 🍔 100🧦 button at the top of the game) to bring UNCLE BUCK into the game, once per round. All the dads fall asleep in fright. He's enormous and he EATS kids. Everyone gets back up for this fight. Grab a cheeseburger 🍔 and drop it: he stops to eat it for 5 seconds, and every kid gets 2 nukes ☢️ to place around him. Beating him is worth 600 points.
Win: kids win if someone is still free when the 5 minutes run out, or if they beat Monica and Didi. Dads win if every kid gets hugged. Monica wins if Didi slobbers every kid.
Points: kids get 1 point a second while free, 40 for each dad knocked out with soda, 50 for luring Didi, 30 for each TNT blast that hits her, 200 for escaping and 300 for beating the boss. Dads get 50 for every hug. Every 5 points gives you a sock 🧦.
Maps: water and sand slow you down, slides, trampolines and hot sand speed you up, and ice makes you slide.
Hat shop
Spend socks on hats. Your hat shows on your character, and friends online can see it.
Gifts
Type a friend's in-game name and send them socks or one of your hats. You can only give what you have, and it leaves your game straight away. Gifts arrive while their Crazy Dads game is open. Both of you need a name set.
